Dino Geremia
Dino developed his passion for sport through successful varsity careers at both Notre Dame High School and Simon Fraser University. After his playing days were over, Dino progressed to coach at the university level and organize community kids camps throughout the lower mainland. Dino's accomplishments include:
- Maters Degree in Educational Leadership
- 18 years of university coaching experience at SFU & UBC
- Certified coach through NCCP
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA
Dino believes in creating a positive and fun environment while helping players achieve their full potential.
Jody Schaufele
Jody is an outstanding young teacher and coach. She is a grad of Holy Cross High School in Surrey where she was a multi-sport athlete Basketball, volleyball, soccer and track and field. She earned herself a volleyball scholarship to Trinity Western University and was a university stand out for her years there. As a teacher she coaches all the sports she participated in but always gravitates back to her passion with volleyball. Jody will be coaching our All Star Volleyball Camps as well as Future Smart.
Maria Bamba
Maria is a dynamic, experienced leader who has worked with children and youth in a variety of settings. Her experience with YMCA, Sportball and Options Community Services Society has prepared her for the high level instruction expected with All Star Camps. Her true passion lies in Basketball and the opportunity to pass that passion on to children and youth. She has a Bachelor of Education from McGill University and is completing her second degree in Recreation Management so expect her to share her experiences not only on the court but with our Future Smart program.
Carling Muir
Carling is a Basketball student-athlete at Langara College and has been a BC College 1st team all star since 2007. She has been the BC College player of the year as well as a Canadian College All Canadian and has led the BC College league in scoring for two seasons in a row. The most remarkable part of all her accomplishments is that she also battled cancer simultaneously and as a result won the Sports BC Harry Jerome Comeback award. Carling brings a great love of basketball, a competitive spirit and a “never say die” attitude that is contagious to everyone she works with. She has coached elementary school basketball as well as coaching with 3D Basketball.
Rose Catriona Bunagan
Rose has been a Basketball student-athlete at Douglas College and more recently at Capilano University. She combines her passion for basketball and sports with her love of the arts. This unique but effective combination allows her to demonstrate a very positive perspective working with children and youth. She was an assistant coach with the Point Grey Junior girls team playing specific roles with practice and game preparation including active stretch. Rose will work with several camps while putting her experience as an early childhood educator to great use.
Graham Nordin
Currently in Human Kinetics at UBC and ex varsity football player. Graham is a passionate fire plug that has a diverse strength and conditioning base and an expert in the development of core balance and stability. Graham will be coaching Strength and Conditioning and Football Camps
Anita Guglielmini
Anita returns to All-Star Future Smart as an experienced coach. She is a certified teacher and currently teaches in the Coquitlam district. Anita has coached volleyball, basketball and soccer. She also has experience teaching the Future Smart camps.
Jordan Covert
Jordan is a returning coach and was a favourite at the Kerrisdale Community Centre. He is a teacher in Vancouver and coached the Hansworth Boys basketball Grade 9 team. Jordan will coach all All Star basketball camps including those in Vancouver, North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
Joe Mancin
Joe is a former varsity football player at UBC. He has graduated with his degree in Human Kinetics and has since become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Joe will be coaching both the football and strength and conditioning camps.
